Sunday Inserts- August 28

Hello Couponers!!!!
This was a good week in my local paper!!!  I had the following inserts:
Red Plum
Smart Source
P&G
and a Publix Green Advantage flyer!!!

Mom...what is for dinner?

How many times are you asked that question on the way home from work or school?  For me it is a daily question and the answer is usually...I don't know yet kiddos.  This week I was determined to try something new to make my nights a little less stressful since my son is now in school.  Friday night I sat down with the computer and my coupons and I planned a menu.  Once I had the menu planned I went to my stockpile to see what I didn't need to buy and then started the coupon process.  Of the 26 items I need for all of my dinners I was able to knock 6 of them off from items in my stock pile.  I was okay with that since it was only my first week doing this.  Once I had those items marked off I starting going through and matching coupons with what was on sale and looking at my favorite match up sites for deals. 
Here is my menu for the week.  If you would like recipes let me know and I can post those as well!!!

Monday- One dish Nacho Bake with cantaloupe
Tuesday- Slow Cooker Beef Stroganoff with green beans
Wednesday- Pizza Quesadillas with bread sticks and fruit
Thursday- Pancakes and bacon (my kids FAVORITE meal)
Friday- Eat out night

Since my plan is to do my menu each Friday night and shop Saturday I don't have the weekend on this menu.

Back in the Game

Hello Couponers!!!!
It has been a long summer that is finally coming to an end!  I hope that it was amazing for each and every one of you!!!  Now that things are slowing down and my family is getting back into a regular routine I will be back on the in savings game!!!
